Likely just a glitch that reset with a restart.

I managed to get both LTA malfunction & pre collision system malfunction - visit your dealer the other day.

Cause of my fault taking the racing line on a 3 lane roundabout.

Ignore it until it comes back again - and don't worry about it in the meantime ... 😉

Many of these sort of errors don't necessarily mean exactly what they say. The dealer would need to read the code[s] to understand what is possibly wrong. If your roadside assistance service have reset the error codes there is nothing for the dealer to read.

As above, it is possibly just a glitch that won't return. If there is an actual fault it will come back soon enough ...

Thank you for the replies . This is the second time it came back. Thank you just saw the video recording and it shows two errors and worried that RAC will refuse next time we have the same issue.

Two errors displayed

Should I just tell them reset anything ?

Ideally, just take the car to the dealer as it is and let them sort out what is wrong ...

Is the car driveable as it is - without calling any breakdown service?

Does the fault indication clear if you switch the car off and one again?

You don't want the codes cleared before the dealer gets to read them.

There is an issue with the new 2024 C-HR when fitted with the Towing Pack.

When using a towbar mounted bike carrier or towing with trailer etc, the PKSB comes in when you select Reverse - you can deselect the PKSB but as soon as R is selected, the PKSB system defaults back to on.

The upshot is that you can reverse smoothly or safely as the car is automatically braked to an emergency stop.

Toyota have been quick with a software fix however and it has successfully been applied to at least one owners car this week.

My own car (just landed at Portbury on Monday) will also have the fix applied before I get it in a few weeks.

I’d recommend that any fault is reported to the dealer and insist they contact Toyota UK to get it sorted As you are unlikely to be the only owner with the problem  👍
