Thank you for accepting me. I am 75 and was a merchant seaman, and served in the Royal Air force. I have had many cars and vans since 1967,  until they got more technical and the plugs and points and starting handles disappeared ! I loved working on motors and find these forums interesting. I worked for Mercedes and Citroen and after a few years on breakdown recovery I left the motor trade.
