Customise Toyota Touch Homescreen

Hi guys

I've had my Yaris for a month now, I'm loving it. But I can't seem to customise the homescreen the way I want it to. The "audio" button is greyed out (this is just a picture I found on the internet for reference) but when I try to customise it, it only lets me choose between ECO, Phone, Clock.

I have a Toyota Touch System with NO navigation. I can connect AA, let's me use google maps and everything. I can customise it so that when I have spotify playing, it shows next to the map. But if I have normal DAB Radio playing, the media block is just greyed out next to google maps on the split screen. 😞

I've looked at a lot of YouTube Videos for this but just can't seem to find an answer. Also, people's media screens look so fun and mine has most features blocked out. 

I've also noticed that when I have AA connected, it won't let me display most apps for example the weather app. I saw customised screen where they could also choose the weather app to be constantly displayed.

Why is mine so limited? 😞
