Stolen cars including Rav4 cars recovered from containers.

I posted on the general forum, but since Rav4 cars were involved, post here too. I saw this on 'X' formerly known as Twitter. If I owned a Rav4, I would be concerned about security. Plus I am sure the recovered cars will belong to the insurance company, if already paid out! Those cars may have some damage.

I assume if the vehicles are undamaged and are offered back to the market they will be registered as stolen recovery. This being the case the sale price may well be much lower and the insurance premium may well be considerably more expensive. I wonder if this also has a knock on effect when trying to sell the vehicle later on.
