hi guys

i'm abhi from surrey bc, canada

i'm trying to build a winter setup of wheels for my 2023 bz4x awd xle

any suggestions to whether i should stick to 18*7.5 rim size and 235/60/18 tires or can i go to 18*8 rims and slightly different tires?

anybody done that already or have any ideas/thoughts would be much appreciated

thanks and drive safe

Personally, I'd stick with the OEM rim size (so 18 x 7.5). Is there a specific reason why you would wish to deviate?

Also, given the 'fun' that Toyota had with wheels and wheel bolts on early examples of the bZ4X, are suitable alternative wheels readily available? (I don't know at all but it is something that I'd want to check-up on.)

I wouldn't think half an inch would make any difference to the tyre choice - I'm pretty sure there isn't a tyre that would fit on one rim and not the other without the overall diameter going out of spec and thus messing up the speedo.

Stay within the orientation specs of the wheels, it it’s 18x 7.5 do not change it to 18x8.
You can change the tyres like all season or winter or anything that is better than the oem tyres but you best to do anything within the specs.
