After 3 years of happy RAV4 ownership I have downsized to a new Yaris Cross. When we bought the RAV4 I needed a tall car to make it easier for me to get in and out after an injury plus the ability to carry two in the back, which was more difficult in my previous C-HR. Now we only need to carry one occasional passenger in the back plus my agility has improved, but the main reason is that we want a car that my wife is willing to drive and the RAV4 was much larger than her own Toyota IQ.

Over the 12,000 miles that we had it the average mpg was 47.1, not at all bad for a big, heavy car mainly used around town but am looking forward to the extra mpg in the YC.

I'll still be visiting the Toyota forum, but concentrating on the Yaris one now.
