OK, so have some success in stopping the rattles.

Firstly, worked in some black 5mm plastic tube sections between the A-Pillar and the windscreen on both sides which hold it firm. I would say that eliminated 90% of the rattles.

Secondly got a strip of 3/4" backer rod (c £12 off amazon) and worked it down between the top of the dash and the wind screen to stop the front of the dash vibrating. Invisible once its in.

Made such a difference to how much I enjoy driving the car without chasing those annoying buzzes and rattles around.... hope that helps anyone with the same issues.

I may even celebrate by turning the radio back on 😀

Im scared if I do this then it won't solve it and I'll not be able to remove it from between the windscreen and the dash...

Especially in the mid section as the gap seems narrower there and flares out at each end.

Having said that I'd love that to be a quick fix. I have it booked in the garage in 5 weeks time for them to investigate.

You've got me wondering if I should sacrifice the £12 for the backer rod......

If it's easy to remove then if it doesn't work, then I guess I could remove it and let garage sort it.... DILEMMA......😔

How far did you have to push in?

Is your dash closer to the window in the mid section?

Do you have any images of what you've done?

Is LOVE to be able to put my radio back on......

Also, if you tapped on the top centre of your dash did you have a loud plastic vibration?

Kind of in front of centre speaker?

I'd start with the A pillar covers...give them a tap..they should be solid...if they rattle then as suggested on this thread earlier try packing with a couple of pieces of folded card (cereal box)...you can test this first before going to a more permanent fix

I also removed the central and side (dashboard ) speaker covers and put foam pads under, but the central speaker is tricky to remove and its easy to scuff the dash so would leave that unless you are sure that's the source.

Putting the backer rod at the very front of the dash and the windscreen is straightforward to push in with a firm prod, but there seems to be some sort of retainer in the middle so had to cut the rod in half (which makes returning it tricky, if it doesn't work), but you could try one side first without cutting it. its also pretty easy to remove as well if you need to - just ease one end out with a screwdriver or the like and pull it out

I didn't shop around...you may be able to get the backer rod cheaper this is the one I used https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0CYBRX38F?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

So yesterday I took delivery of my Premier YC in urban Khaki - So glad I picked the colour.

It replaced my 2022 Premier YC in pearl white.

Seems quieter and smoother but probably cause its new. Bigger screen is very good and even the in-car SatNav is good.

So far the only thing that I have issue with is the Charging pad. It is doing my head in. Charging, then not charging, then flashing due to obstacle in the way!!!!  tried with different cases and no case, still the same.  Guess it does not help as my phone is big.

Needless to say its a load of Poop at present and as much good as a "chocolate fireguard".

Will persevere and see what happens. Will tell dealer when they ring to see how its going on Monday.

Overall I am really happy with it and keep finding excuses to go for a drive..

Re charging pad, I use a standard (read cheap) clear cover on my iPhone 13 and have no problems with the charging. My wife has a potatoe of an iphone8 with a similar cover and occasionally has problems with the charger. Not sure if that helps, but might just be worth removing the cover off your phone to see if you get the same problem if not.

like you I love the colour….

And the latest cloud based satnav works very well, so not found the need to use CarPlay and after market map apps so far….

Sorry me again! I also found changing the map background colour to the ‘sand’ one makes it look so much better than the default white….

On my Lexus which has the latest charging pad same as yours, the positioning is critical.  Try just moving it a bit until you find a sweet spot and hopefully it’ll settle down.

The charging pad in my last car worked when it felt like it, often showing the “ object” message, it’s probably hir and miss in a lot of cars..

Here’s the satnav with a ‘sand’ background instead of the default white

Yes the new in-0car satnav is so good and I also changed to the sand.

So today it was removal of the case of my phone. Move it about for a few minutes to get the charging working and it settled down. 26 miles drive and the charge went up 1% but OK as it didn't drop. That means having to remove the case every time I want to charge until I can find a thinner case with enough protection.

Wireless charging in my YC is handy but annoying. I have to pay attention as the phone moves occasionally & stops charging. I have a really sturdy phone case so am not going to be removing that every time I get in the car. I have tried connecting by wire but so far it’s not working. What does everyone else do please ?

It's quite bizarre that the wireless charging standards don't include some sort of mag-lock. My mate had an old Palm Pre and you just had to hold it near the dock and the magnets would suck it into the right place for optimum charging.

I’ve given up on wireless charging as it only works intermittently on my Yaris. Yesterday I plugged my phone into the right hand side USB C socket and my phone charged from 30 to 80% on my 40 minute drive.

I've given up as well.  Bought a charging pad with a step to give the camera lens some room, also it's magnetic so no sliding about. Stuck it down over the existing pad with some double sided tape and wrapped the wire and tucked it over the 12v socket and power plug.

Amazon £20, problem solved.

Or a standard magsafe charger with some command hook double sided velcro works just as good and you get fast charging if plugged into a “pd” standard adapter as a bonus.

Garage have confirmed that my car has a known issue for the rattle and they have to order a "sound mat" to put under dashboard.

I had them check out two other snags while in today a slightly protruding rear door and the rear seats headrest fittings that the headrests slot into - which seems raised above the fabric of the seat quite a lot.

They confirmed that the door is out of alignment and will fix that too but said they will do that when they get it back in for the dashboard rattle.

They said the headrest fixings are normal and are down to the rubber seat back protectors that I added in as an accessory when I bought the car - as apparently they press down on the fabric and give this effect - anyone else have this -  I've added an image...... they appear to be higher than the seat fabric when looking from the front.

Firstly it's good that they have taken this seriously, but they have to book it in again once they know when they can get the sound mat and the door sorted - so another trip to the garage......
