Hi all, a potential C-HR owner, we currently own a 65 plate 1.3 Yaris and a Lexus CT, the Lexus is getting a bit troublesome getting out of now so was looking for something a bit higher off the floor. I've always liked the look of the C-HR and was looking at 18-19 plate 1.2 with no more than 50k miles with full history, is there anything I need to watch out for, before you all say get the Hybrid, I only use the CT about twice a month now which isn't ideal for these cars and I've had to use a Battery pack twice, as I let the Battery drain, first one by the AA, they  came out and he showed me how to do it myself, I love the car but it's just too low now and I just don't use it enough.

Not frequent enough driving for a hybrid, try and find a petrol powered vehicle to suit your needs. Not frequent enough driving for diesel engines either. Just my humble opinion.

Yea, best suited will be 1.2t

I hope Toyota awaken and start offering again petrol only options on most models like in many other countries.

Alas they're bound by law not to, and unless we can get those rules changed somehow, new straight ICE cars will get rarer and rarer.

Totally agree, would have a MK4 Yaris again if a ICE only was available with the amount of miles i do and with not being overly keen on the new shape Aygo so will be keeping my MK3 Yaris 1.5 for a very long time.

As said in the post it was a 1.2 I was looking and all 1.2 are petrol, the 1.8 are Hybrid, I know all about how the Battery goes flat that's why I asked is there anything I should look out for on a 18-19 plate 1.2 petrol.

I bought a brand new 1.2 back in 2017, kept it for nearly 5 years, it only had about 28,000 miles on it when I traded it in. I had no issues with it, all the time I had it.
