Where to mount mobile phine

Struggling to find a nice place to mount a mobile phone.. Where has everyone put there's

Air vents central console under screen.

I use big phones so always wary of damaging vents using vent mounts. Tend to use suction pad on windscreen in other vehicles but don't need to see phone now as I use Android Auto on this one.

Don't like attaching things to the vents but very limited options for chr

If you go Amazon you can search air vents mounts, todays times there are high quality vents mounts that can holla phone stable and be vents friendly, not to break them. Kenu, Ugreen, Belkin etc

Have found mounting phone on vent is a poor line of vision to look at sat nav. Use a window mount, that is much better for the eye line.
