Hi guys
After I change all my TMPS for all tyres, and programmed, now the warning light of TPMS is not working even my tyre have low pressure.
Does anyone experience this, and were it could be the problem?

If TPMS lights is off then set tyres pressure to normal and perform reset for tpms. If you now release some air out from one tyre light must come out, if not light is faulty 🙂

Have you carried out the correct TPMS reset procedure? I.e. carefully adjust all four tyres to the correct pressure and then press and hold the TPMS reset button. IIRC it's well hidden under the steering column.

If the TPMS valves are not correctly programmed into the system the light should come on.

The light should come on if the pressure drops by a certain amount from the set level. If the level is set too low the light won't come on when it should. That would be resolved by performing the TPMS reset procedure.

Failing that, did the light come on previously? Or has someone "snipped the pink wire"?

I don't have a reset button,as I remember the mechanic just change the ID of the new sensors (so the computer board could recongnized them) but he didn't set a low-pressure level.

Do I have to adjust and set a low-pressure level?

I'm pretty sure that you do have a reset button ... what grade of RAV4 do you have?

OK, maybe I'm not so sure - my 2009 SR180 did, but maybe earlier cars didn't ...

See this post from a thread a while back:

Specifically, Vince88 stated that: "I then followed the calibration sequence in techstream (tyres were cold but correctly inflated). I was then able to verify the pressure readings using techstream and could verify that the threshold for alarm was a little lower."

I really don't know the grade, I have a Rav4 2006, 2.2 diesel 170HP manual, europe version,

As I read online forums, I think that need to set a low-pressure level so when the tyre is below that level the car can trigger an alarm and the light to come on.
