Hi, My daugter got hit and run sideswiped recently in her pearl white 2016 RAV 4 and it damaged her passanger side mirror. I'm looking for replacements and I'm a bit confused. Her car has the side mirror type that has the signal indicator/blind spot built in. I have found some online that state "Fits 2013-2018", but some state "Fits 2013-2015", which doesn't make sense. Wouldn't they all cover the same year span? Is there something unique about the 16 and 17? My question is, will the mirror that states "Fits 2013-2015" fit her 2016? If not, why not, and why do some fit all between 13-18 and other don't?

Thanks in advance.

Toyota Owners Club is UK based with the majority of members in the UK. Probably wouldn't know of the differences between Rav4 models produced in the US.

There was a facelift in 2016. I'm not sure whether that materially impacts the wing mirrors but explains why there are different pre- and post- facelift part numbers.

There are also several variants:

  • Without indicator
  • With indicator
  • Electric heated
  • Power folding
  • With blind spot monitor

Clearly you will need to select the "with blind spot monitor" option ...
