Proud owner of a Yaris Cross Excel 22 plate, This is our first hybrid and petrol for t along time for that matter having had diesels since 2000.  Why a hybrid? This vehicle will mostly do urban and low speed A roads so it fitted the strengths of the hybrid well.  My first long trip 130miles round trip proved we had the right choice, with 700M of ascent and decent to a ski area, still turned in 73.6mpg with 18" wheels and fronts came with low cost tyres so unlikely to be the best rolling resistance so maybe we can better that.  

Lookign forward to many years of trouble free motoring.
