Hello friends, can someone explain please, on the 2020 to 2023 CHR, what is the difference between the  Excel and Dynamic specifications?  (looking on Autotrader and Toyota UK Used, they both seem to have the same specifications and price, I can't see any difference and am a bit baffled?). Thanks, Mark

There's not a lot of difference - the Excel is a Design with more toys; the Dynamic is a Design with more style. The Excel has power adjustable driver's seat and heated steering wheel as standard ...

Last of the C-HR Excel during the model run out the heated steering wheel was removed.

The Orange edition is also worth checking out - its a 2 litre hybrid special edition based on the Excel & has standard JBL audio system.

The brochures used to list "As <lower spec> with the following additional equipment..."but I don't know if that's still a thing...

Depending on the budget a 22 model year to end of April 2023 build Excel or GR Sport would be worth seeking out.

Optional JBL audio on both also worth looking for.

1.8 hybrid if you want extra boot space or 2 litre hybrid if you want some fun.

My car is a 2021 1.8 litre Dynamic.  From what i can gather, it seems to be a sort of mish-mash between models - it has equipment not available on other models, whilst at the same time missing things that other models have.

I had a similar thing with a VW Touran 54-plate.  Mine was an S model, but had some things previously only available on the SE.

This may help. It is the brochure I downloaded when I had my 2020 C-HR Dynamic
