A totally beaten up Yaris mk. 1 rolls in the roadside repair shop.

Exhaust needs a little fixing... to says at least.  Impressive that the car still runs, everything is broken or beaten up.

Last time I was in Senegal there was a "garage" outside the sub station I was working in, using the sub station compound as their own forecourt / storage yard / toilet and they just had a pressure vessel and chucked calcium carbide and water in it occasional to provide the acetylene.

I was somewhat more nervous than usual when working in sub stations due to the proximity of the potential shrapnel.

These people have the same pressure vessel providing acetylene, could well be the same people or their children. It was 20 years ago.
