So I've had my IQ for about 6 years now. I've been told by the garage I need to start looking for something new because it's on its way out.

Now the engine runs perfectly, but all the electrics have started to go.

First problem: whilst at home with the car parked and engine switched off. The horn started randomly going off and would only stop when I started the engine. I had to have the horn unplugged.

Second problem: passenger side window wont roll down

Third problem: key fob stopped working. Have to use key blade to open the car. And hold the fob next to the start stop button to turn on the engine

Fourth problem: windscreen wipers stopped working (fail MOT)

After inspection, the fuse box had water damage. The fusebox was welded back together and cleaned up but everything has gone again.

I've been told it'll cost more than the cars worth to fix

Is this the end of my little IQ?

That depends entirely on your skill set, your wallet and the amount of effort you are prepared to put in to sort it out.

If man made it then man can fix it. Only you can decide if it is worth it or not.

The starting point is to repair the water leak so it does not happen again and for sure, as you seem to have had it repaired once and it has gone again, then either find a different garage or mend it yourself.
