Hi, my first post so apologies if in the wrong place or already answered and i wasn't able to find the answer on here.  I have recently taken delivery of a Rav4 Phev GR 2024 and I am rally delighted with the car. A lot of my pre purchase research was online and a lot of that content, You Tube etc.  is from the US or mainland Europe not UK and Ireland.

A useful feature that I have had on previous cars and I thought i was getting on my Rav4 (it is on the PRIME in the US  and EU models) was that each key fob could be linked to a memory seat setting , very useful if you are 12" taller than your spouse!! However while the key fob looks the same and the memory seat is obviously the same, the memory seat key fob feature doesn't seem to be something available/working/programable on my spec car.

Also and i hope this isn't turning into a rant but the sales garage, who were excellent,  were very excited to tell me that this GR model was equated with Toyotas latest 2024 infotainment system........only to discover that android auto is not wireless,  plug in only,. I am hoping that this is only a software upgrade away or maybe some of the members on here have a solution?

Many thanks for your ears and this platform:)

To the best of my knowledge there is no facility to link seat position to a key fob on the current generation of RAV4. Memory seat positions are, of course, on the inside door handle so it takes a matter of seconds to select the seat position for the driver.

Support for Android Auto is via USB - it is not natively wireless. You can, of course, purchase a plug-in dongle to provide a wireless AA connection.

I've done mine no problem, and until recently I was sure that I read about how to in the manual. Surprisingly couldn't find it in the manual yesterday when trying to help someone with this issue on one of the FB groups.

Found a couple of video on YouTube though. Hope they help.

All I can say it's deffo doable as I and my wife use different keys and different memory settings for the driver seat.

Thanks Nick, its not in my owners manual either. I am delighted to hear that  you got it working as i had previously seen some of the YouTube videos and followed their instructions but in vain.

I will go again and hopefully the problem was with my execution...fingers crossed and thanks again folks
