SmartConnect 1.24.020 update installation stuck

Hello

I'm having some trouble installing the lastest update of SmartConnect. After clicking install, a modal displayed telling me about the installation taking about 10 minutes, but instead just stopping at the "installation starting" phase. If I open AndroidAuto in the mean time, the modal is gone, but in the software update page, the only button says "Installing...". I kept the car running for about an hour for this to finish, but no progress was made whatsoever.

Anyone has any idea what can be the reason behind this issue?

Retry over and over. Make sure you get good cellular network signal. If nothing helps, restore the multimedia to factory defaults and try again.

When I had that problem the only thing that fixed it was a factory reset. You will lose all your settings and radio presets in the process.
