Have my Yaris Cross since August 2022 and am starting to get trouble answering calls on the infotainment system

and Toyota Touch.

Calls show up on screen but there is no way I can answer them unless I use my phone.

HELP....

I also changed my headlight bulbs this morning and I have to say it was so easy.  Just a twist in and all set.

Something all car manufacturers should have.

Thanks all

Milo

Are you connecting your phone to the car with Android Auto / Apple Carplay or via bluetooth connection?

I think a long press and hold in the volume button for a count of 5 may do a reboot (same as ctl-alt-del on a windows machine) and may fix it.

There is a button on the steering wheel for answering calls, but I must admit it's a bit small and does need looking for,

Thanks folks.  I am using android auto and the problem is answering the calls.  When I touch the screen it shows the number of the person who is calling but gives me no way to answer the call and yes I have tried the steering wheel  button but nothing happens

If this issue just started to happen right now I'd suggest factory reset of the infotainment system

Followed by a reboot of the phone. The old "then it all off and on again" still works wonders for all sorts of computerised equipment.

Actually the phone restart is easier and might avoid having to re-input infotainment settings, so suggest you try that first.

Have restarted the phone a number of times.   How do I factory reset of the infotainment system.  Do you mean Soft Reset ; Press power and audio buttons for 10 seconds, or Hard Reset ; Disconnect then reconnect Battery. ?

Are phone calls or Whatsapp calls?

I've no problems in nswering phone calls but when I receive WA call there's no way to answer.

Hi all.  Brought car to dealership and after some discussion we worked out that my smar******ch was receiving the call before Toyota Touch.  Turned accept calls via bluetooth on watch to off and now I can answer calls on car...
