Wait before you drive

Hi guys new to the forum,

my car has just develop a fault...WAIT before you drive sign on cluster is

not extinguishing ...normally goes off after few seconds on start up..

my car is 1.8 hybrid .

is it ok to drive the car?

HI Michael,These lights are designed to come on briefly and then go off but if it's staying on it could indicate a issue with the hybrid system. Have you done a scan to see if any error codes flag up.

it could be a sign of a weak 12v Battery, given it is a 2020 car lockdown may have affected the Battery - go get it tested
