Timeing Belts and Keyfobs

After many years my old 2007 RAV4 has succumbed to terminal rust. Looking back on the RAV4s I have owned I really appreciate their no nonsense ability to be adjusted to different tasks, be it towing boats and trailers or maximising the boot area and loading up 45 paintings for an exhibition 400miles away.

I'm now looking at a second hand "Rav4 2.2 D-4D 5dr Diesel Manual 4WD" of 2013 vintage and was wonder whether it has timing belt or chain, and what roughly the replacement cost of said belt would be. I was guessing optimistically £350- based on experience of previous cars.

The vehicle I am considering only has one key entry/start fob and wonder what I will be looking at for a spare, I guess this would be a dealer only part? And what would be a ballpark figure for it.

Many thanks for looking

The Rav4 2.2 D-4D 5dr Diesel Manual 4WD of 2013 vintage has a timing chain. (And, of course, a normal serpentine belt driving the ancillary components.)
