Anyone fitted there own towbar... Any tips recommended brackets ect.. Any problems with parking senser or safety systems

I have the factory towbar but it was necessary to have the car coded by Toyota prior to delivery as the default settings would have slammed on the brakes when reversing with a bike carrier/trailer - the car would think there was an imminent collision with an object behind.

The software upgrade switches off the PKSB (Parking Support Brake) and the rear parking sensors so you can reverse without any interference from these systems.

I would imagine that you would have to have hem coded out with a third party towbar as well 🤔
