competent garages

Trust this is OK to post.

Not sure if anyone can help but I had previously posted about reluctor ring issues on my wife's 3 door RAV4.

I need to find a competent garage that can actually assist having spent over £500 on 3 separate garage visits and the problems still exist.

There must be a garage somewhere that has a knowledge on RAV4 brakes!

Desperate times as now a case of fix or scrap!

My trusted independent Toyota garage know their stuff been using them for over 35 years and had nothing but excellent service but not close to you , based in Norwich Roy’s motor company , there’s not much they don’t know about Toyota’s! 
could call and have a chat with Ian he may be able to help over phone .

I would , ask to speak to Ian service manager, I will drop him an email and say you may call if you want , they have looked after my previous two Rav’s 2004, 2009, and will my new one once it requires servicing, they look after my GR yaris and I wouldn’t trust my local main dealer to look after that !

 

Update, I thought I would just email him anyway and say you may call for some help and advice and screenshotted your post .

Hi Phil, thanks for the recommendation, we do have lots of information on them, have found cracked or just rusty rings and rust stopping abs sensors reading correctly , very common, also abs control units also play up , corroded connections, I’m sure we can help them , cheers Ian
