Hi,

Toyota avensis 2004, 1.8 vvti
Engine 1zzfe
After changing Water pump and Thermostat few weeks ago I have now ABS and VSC light permanently on.
Initially it was intermittent and was fixed by rotation steering full clockwise and anticlockwise few time.
I have also tried to read code via Paper clip method on OBD2 port and got below codes by noting down flash sequence.
Tried to reset code by pressing brakes quickly 8 times just when dash lights started flashing but it's not working and ABS and VSC light stays on.

Any help would be much appreciated

Hi, have you tried connecting OBD reader? Too many things can trigger those lights. In my case it was faulty ignition coil, others have reported even a tail light bulb out will show the same lights on the dashboard.

Hi, Thanks you very much for suggesting to checks Lights.

This morning when I  checked brake lights but were off but, On checking bulbs one was fused but other probably had some defect. The moment I replaced first bulb, both ABS and VSC lights disappeared.

All good now. Thanks you very much.
