Brake pedal travelling to the floor.

Hi,

Hoping someone can help?  I have just replaced the two rear calipers and rebuilt the fronts on my 2007 2.2 D-Cat. Bled the system and little to no brakes with the pedal travelling to the floor. No leaks, so changed the master cylinder for a used one. Fully bled the system again and although the brakes are a bit better the pedal still travels to the floor when the engine is running. The pedal is hard as a rock with the engine off. Is there anything else I should be looking at, or have I have I been unlucky and got another dodgy master cylinder? Any help would be appreciated.

Many thanks for looking.

is it/was it losing fluid ? did you power bleed the brakes? some cars do require the ABS to be put into a bleed mode to actuate the abs

how much fluid did you bleed out of the system

My gess is that one of the calipers isn't bled properly or is leeking. Try to test the brakes with the wheels in air and engine off.
