New YC Design Order

Just ordered YC Design and provisional delivery looks like back end of October (this year). Anybody got a feel if this is realistic or likely to move forward or backwards ? Thanks.

My YC Premiere is quoting about 6 weeks from order, due end of August for September registration. Suppose it depends on the numbers ordered for each model.  I did go back and ask for an option and they said I would have to cancel and place a new order and that would have been a late September delivery. I stayed with the original order.

A lot will depend on what specs are ordered re the delivery date.

Possibly, but I rather doubt that. Modern production lines can churn out mixes of spec, and even completely different models, on a car by car basis*. Any limitations will be on what the supply chain (subcontractors) can supply.

 

( * 2-3 decades ago I visited JLC at Halewood and they were assembling Jaguar saloons and (at least) one of the Land Rover models on the same line.)

I ordered my YC Premiere in Urban Khaki mid May with no options and it turned up at the end of July, I'm not sure whether adding options would have changed that.

Ordered my Design beginning of June (11th irc) quoted middle of August for delivery, arrived early July and I picked it up around the 18th July, due to me having previous things booked it could have been few days earlier.
