Accessory socket in boot

Hi

I'm thinking of buying a yaris cross in either icon or design trim.  I can't run to an excel.

However I need an accessory socket in the boot, which the excel has and the others don't.   Is it possible to fit one and how easy is it please?

My advice would be to find a local auto electrician: in my experience these guys can do pretty much anything and you know it will be a 'proper job'

You may even find the wiring is there - my Yaris didn't have footwell lights but the wiring was there so I just attached the lights.

It should be even easier than for the regular car because the Battery is under the rear seats. No need to lead the wires through the firewall or reuse the existing fuse.

Anyway keep in mind that the Battery in YC is very small and it might be necessary to wire it in a way that the socket is only powered when the Battery is charged
