Map update

Anyone any thoughts.

Corolla 73 plate. Unable to update navigation.

Message "Unable to update maps contact dealer" Dealer has updated my navigation but the message still appears!

System uses LIVE mapping data via the DCM.

I wish Toyota would just take the map update option out the Smart Connect system software as it just confuses owners & dealers alike.

My problem was different to yours, I paid the 100 and odd quid for the update but when I went to install it wouldn't let me and got the same message but that was because there was a big gap between the version on the car to the latest update. I emailed Toyota instead, gave my vin No and reg and I think the version No. on the car ,the next morning I got a email to try again and it installed.
