I don’t think so… The second button, the one with the pimple, is used to lock the car

Same here,  I live in a bit of a dodgy area so for me its peace of mind  giving the door handle a little pull before i walk away from the car.

But, as has been explained, it still allows you to do this (tried it myself today).

If you read the full thread you will see members who like to do the door handle test are also concerned about relay attack theft so for peace of mind they want to turn off keyless which automatically  allows the door handle to be tried immediately,  thanks to members input we now know its easy to turn off and on which cars.
