JBL and HUD are standard on MY24 Excel.

This is from the current brochure.

As above the brochure is not accurate.

This is the spec on the website

Thanks for that. Will go to dealer tomorrow for a test drive. Had a couple of interesting quotes on new with Dec delivery quoted.

Delivery for 2.0 people are being quoted into February but the 1.8 is available sooner.

The dealer should be able to 100% confirm the spec. Last I got was we are now in MY24.5, due to an emissions update on the 2.0l but no other spec or equipment changes.

Any views on the 1.8 vs the 2.0 ?

I had 2 earlier gen hybrid 1.8 in 2015 and 2018 auris and they're perfectly fine. 2.0 has more in reserve and is a more relaxed drive.

That said the gen 5 hybrid system benefits the 1.8 more with greater electric motor output and most on here are perfectly happy.

If you do a lot of motorway and A road driving 2.0 is a better choice. More town driving 1.8 is better choice, cheaper and will likely get better MPG.

But both are excellent choices and nice drives. If you can, test both back to back. No other spec or equipment differences between 1.8 and 2.0 except 2.0 gets a faux "manual shift" - simulated gear changes - which are fun but not necessary or really add anything.
