hi.

have a question:

sometimes the car stands 4-5 days on non-driving (weekends or so), in the first beginning of the driving, at low speed... feels like front right tire maybe also the left one less, but,  for a few seconds felt like ride felt like having a square tires .... after 200m its just gone ... when driving daylie its not happening only after standing a few days.

tires with no bubbles, steering is fine, all good.

tires are KLEBER, 205\65\16 they looks like new, very good condition, only 30,000km on them.

do i need to change my tires or it something ales ?

thank you.

Have one or more of the tyres got puncture repair foam/liquid or similar in them? I once used a can of the stuff in an attempt to cure a slow puncture. Whilst it did help to slow the rate of air loss down, it also had the effect of making the wheel virtually impossible to balance properly. I think when the car was parked for a while the foam was settling to the bottom of the tyre. Then when the car was driven again the centrifugal force would distribute it around the tyre more evenly.

Hi Moshe,It sounds like your tyres might be have flat spotting. This happens when a car sits for a few days, especially in cooler weather. The weight of the car can cause the tyres to develop temporary flat spots, leading to a bumpy ride for the first few minutes of driving. To try and fix this I would check the tyre pressure and make sure your tyres are properly inflated, as low pressure can make flat spotting worse.Even if they’ve only done 30,000 km, check the manufacture date. Tyres over 5-6 years old might need replacing, even if they look fine.Try to move the car every few days to prevent flat spots.😀

You can try move the car little bit just to make lower point of contact with the ground goes up and stop, re check visually how the tyres look , any flat spots or deformation will explain the situation. Although unless the tyres are over 10 years old this is rare to happen, it’s more likely to have a foam puncture repair thing as mentioned. This stuff is horrible. Works in bicycles and scooters well though but in cars I won’t be using that.

Sounds like flat-spotting - What pressure are your tyres at? Too-low a pressure can make tyres more prone to that. Could try increasing the pressures slightly.

If you live somewhere hot and have softer rubber tyres like all-seasons, that can make them more prone to it too.
