No dash lights, indicators,no radio and Battery dies fast

The car still turns on, but the whole dash doesn't light up, just 2 in the middle and sometimes a yellow check engine. The indicators don't work, my radio doesn't work, my air system and wipers don't work and my Battery dies so fast.

I just put in a new alternator and all the problems are still there.

If the alternator was replaced and the faults are still there, then check the fuses, connections and earths! If not sure get an auto electrician.

Last year I helped change an alternator on a Hyundai i10 after the owners did their 'checks'. I replaced the alternator as requested (partial front end removal), but the fault was still there! I checked the fuses and found the main fuse had blown, plus a couple of minor fuses for radio and something else. The damage was caused when jump starting the car. Cables were shorted. All fuses replaced and all good. Jump starting and connecting to Battery should be positive + first, then negative -. Do one at a time so not to accidentally cause a short!

So you now have an idea what to check.
