2023 used CH-R Mk I reserved…ToyotaProtect & DashCams

Having researched which used vehicle to go for (including on this forum…thank you to those who post here), I landed on the C-HR, a 2023 model.  Dealership is awaiting my confirmation on two outstanding questions:

1. Should I have ToyotaProtect added before collection?  Cost £599
2. Should I have dashcams fitted?  Cost £399

Grateful for any experiences with either, positive or otherwise.

In my humble opinion:

1. Should I have ToyotaProtect added before collection?  Cost £599 - No
2. Should I have dashcams fitted?  Cost £399 - Yes

I had the Dealer fit my Dashcam. This way, if anything happens to the electrical system, they would need to get it sorted out.
