Oil consumption

Good morning
I introduce myself Christian 35 years old from France, I come here because I have a problem with my toyota avensis break t27 2015 2.0 d4d 143ch bmw engine 160000km from 2015
the vehicle has been maintained at Toyota for 2 years for maintenance and benefits from the relax guarantee
for more than a year I have had excessive oil consumption (between 1l, 1.5l every 1500km) after that it varies depending on my driving I have the impression
so every month I take my vehicle to Toyota who adds more to me and also I have appointments almost every month where he carries out tests apparently requested by the warranty but all this time he cannot find the last operations They sent the injectors for inspection and they are good.
and I have the impression that the consumption displayed on the computer is not good, it indicates 7.2l/100 excluding a full tank I do max 650km...
I also add that I have a problem (I think carbon and oil) in the intake manifold which regularly blocks the pressure sensor and causes my fuel consumption to increase, I clean it very regularly
Has anyone had this problem before or could you please direct me?
THANKS

Hi and welcome.
These Toyota cars with bmw engines are not good at all.
They have all the negatives that comes with being a bmw engine but not the performance or refinement of a German car.
I will strongly recommend to you trade in this car for a Toyota hybrid. Corolla or whatever suits your style and needs and you're gonna have a nicer car to drive, much more reliable and much more efficient.
These bmw engines even Toyota mechanics don't know how to fix or how to work on them. Swap your Avensis for a hybrid, or for another Avensis with 1.8 petrol, these are best Avensis cars. 👍

Hi,

Selling the car is the easiest and maybe the cheapest solution...

I still got mine... Don't know why...

Mine also burn Some oil but not that much, about 0,2 L/1000km. I have changed oil to Castrol 5w40 M (especification Ll-04 BMW) and It has reduced a little (not much).

Some of this cars burn too much oil, in this spanish forum they say It Is due to piston rings, you can see a picture of them.

Some people only solve the problem after rebuilding engine piston rings and valve oil seals mainly.

Other have tried PCV but I don't It Will solve tour problem as yours burns too much.

Can you put a picture of the sensor that you clean? I haven't done that ever

Good morning , so Toyota has been doing tests for 1 year and finally they talked to me about the segmentation..., there they tested the injectors to see if they were good because they told me that this would surely affect the decision of the guarantee relax and they are good so if they decide to change the unit (which I hope) the bill will be lower for them because the injectors are good... for the sensor I could take you a photo this afternoon, it is located just in front of the oil gauge, it is a star screw, if you do not see tell me again this afternoon I will take you a photo thank you for all your advice, it still hurts
