1st fuel fill

So 9 days in and it’s 1st fill, I’m showing over70 mpg on the trip so interesting to find a actual full tank to full tank figure.  28 litres for 410 miles which is pretty impressive I think, that including a motorway and A1 journey up into North Yorkshire. Was showing 40 miles left on the range so I’m guessing a small tank and not what my handbook stated. 67 mpg is a pretty impressive figure, it’s well up there with my Mercedes Diesel. A quick  scan pulled no faults which again is impressive and not something you’d see on many German cars  or likewise.

For the past 2 months mine has been averaging 74.7mpg. 36 litre tank. Fyi mine went -30 miles (minus) range in the summer once and fill up to 32.85 litres first click. Car computer mpg is over estimate by 5-7%. So mine is about 70 mpg is real life just like your forum id.

Motorway at 70mph in the middle of winter = 51mpg.  Pootling around to the nearest town in summer = 71mpg

Toyota tend to allow generous reserves in their fuel tanks - if you look in the full owners manual index for 'warning lights' and 'low fuel warning light', that should state what the reserve is. The range will be to the reserve rather than empty, and the low fuel light will illuminate when the reserve is reached.
