De-cat Differences

Ihi folks! just got my 1.3 99 corolla de-catted at the weekend and was wondering if anyone else has noticed a difference in BHP or fuel consumption.

it seems to be nippier and most definatley louder!!!! how much different would it be in fuel.

I must say it does sound well! very like a twin-cam..

of course it will go thru MOT! i got a replacement pipe made for it so i just put it back in next year. MOT was last thurs and i got it out on friday.

It cost me £30 which wasnt bad.

it was loud before but now its twice as loud but has a cracker note to it!!!

Did you keep the muffler or centre box coming back or did you get rid of that too?

What sort of back box did you fit and did you get rid of the centre box or muffler coming back or did you keep. I got rid of it, big mistake!!
