New Prius models

I'm still waiting for my Prius to arrive (hopefully in September), but having read that Toyota are not only launching a Sports version of the Prius but also a Diesel, I'm tempted to hold out again!

I wonder what MPG a Diesel Prius would do? 100? The article uses the word 'stodgier' to compare the GT and normal versions of the Prius. Makes the normal version of the Prius sound inferior!

I usually have a pateince of a saint, but this is beyond torture - Just four more weeks, and my T4 should be ready...

I am still trying to see and test drive a Prius in Southampton area. I have been let down on 4 occasions with no tel call or apology from the dealer. Still have not sat in one or seen one close up.Meanwhile I continue driving my Lexus Is200 and I can say that part of the local dealership do give good service and are interested.

I did try all the Toyota dealers in a 50 mile radius around Bristol and couldn't get a test drive anywhere. Since I was genuinely interested in a replacement for my Volvo and knowing about the long waits for a Prius, I think I did the next best thing, and Malc was kind enough (the fool!) to give me a ride in his Prius. The dealership in Central Bristol pretty much dismissed my eagerness so I didn't go back there. They've not called back. Toyota Roman in Bath got my business because they called me back and knew that I was serious. And at least everywhere else, they were keen to find a test model.

Try the Jemca toyota in Edgware Road, Colindale, London. You could even pick up a Prius within a week!!!
