Security setting in vehicle customisation

Has anyone one got any idea what enabling this setting does ? see pic.

It might be that it enables you to lock the doors and not be able to open them from the inside. In case someone breaks the windows. 
It works if youtap twice on the lock button within 10-15 seconds.

It's the security lock for the infotainment unit.

It's like the old radio security code system from the 1990s
