Sign In Problems

Computers are designed to drive me clucking mad

Why do I have to sign in every time I use this forum-----

I typed a reply to a Q.  A Message stated email address is used by a other member

That member is ME

Trying to sign in, I CANNOT SEE  MY PASSWORD, I had to try  few times  before I got it right

Please admin can you make password visible - - - Honestly it's not funny for people like me who are not good at typing. It is so frustrating having to go through the whole process of signing in.

This protects your forum account, and could prevent someone else accessing your account.

Again hiding your password may provide some protection for your account.

Whether you're using a desktop, laptop or tablet, when you successfully sign into the Club, most will ask whether you want to save your sign in details including your password. So, although not ideal, you could save your login details in this way.

And whT if one saves a mis typed password ?

Well if a mis-typed password is saved to your device, it will log you in using that password.

At the end of the day, the current system has been in use since before I joined the Club (2008), it works well for the vast majority of members, and we have very few problems with members logging in.
