Screen but no Google maps

My 2014 aygo has a dab screen, I have calls and Spotify, and sound from Google maps, when I plug my phone in via usb but no picture from Google maps etc, is this possible with this screen please .

Aygo 2014 doesn't support google maps , aa or carplay. You get sounds because when the phone is plugged in the head unit sees your phone as a sound device like an ext usb or ipod equivalent. 
not possible without changing the head unit.

Aygo mk2 (2014+) headunit comes in 3 versions.

86120-0H060 - The most basic no touch screen version

86140-0H020 - Two knob on the right with touch screen.  It has DAB radio and reverse camera, but does not support Android Auto or Apple Carplay.

86140-YV020 - 2 knob one at top left another one at top right, a speaker button at lower left.  This one supports Android Auto and Apple Carplay (Wired only, if you want wireless, you'll need to add a Dongle).

 

Upgrading from 0H020 to YV020 is very straight forward.  Just remove the old then plug in the new (it has same connector with the same pin).  However, ever since car recycle places know this, the price for YV020 sky rocketed.  Nowadays, you rarely find a fully functional YV020 for less than £300 (right now, I saw one on eBay sold at £350, another one sold at £495).

 

If you really really wanted Android Auto or Apple Carplay, I would go for aftermarket:

More work than the YV020, but:

1. Don't need to buy an extra Android Auto / Carplay wireless dongle

2. Doesn't crash when you connect to AA or Carplay

3. Easier to add amplifier or under seat subwoofer.

4. Better sound quality than 0H020 / YV020
