Well thats interesting...I thought it was available on TS. Maybe the MY25  updates mean no super green for TS anymore?

Such a shame as i like the bi-tone, especially the green.

Just found an old brochure and pricelist from March/April and super green says HB only.

Maybe it never was available. Honestly I like it but for a show car, not a daily driver.

Just order the ts in the colour you like the most and then when the car arrives get it wrapped in black , job done. 👌😊

I am exactly the same, I would have liked the green & I would have liked bitone but I think that they have also dropped the option of bitone on TS in the UK in its entirety.

Btw, I am currently being quoted December delivery for a 2.0 TS Excel in Juniper Blue.

requires notifying your insurance company as a modification & most likely they will increase the premium (& if it is on PCP the finance company, as owner, may not like it). Plus, of course, additional cost of the wrap.

Quoted 3-4 weeks for mine, salesman did say there was some “tweaking” needed at the build due to EU emissions changes for the 2L plant??

Yes, co2 increased by a couple grams as a result. Now known as MY24.5 but no other spec or equipment changes.

On Friday 3 different dealers said that the system was now showing delivery as late February 2025 for 2.0! 😮

Apparently no issue with 1.8 availability.

Buy the 1.8 variant if 2.0 not available.
When driving normally and within the limits there is almost no difference between both. The 2.0 only shows it’s performance dominance when pushed harder to accelerate as is obviously the more powerful engine.
For those who 1.8 it’s not powerful enough, the 2.0 will not compensate, and it’s not just because of engine power but because of the transmission and how hybrids work. Something to bear in mind 👍

I will buy what I want to buy, thank you.

For me, the 2.0  will compensate where the 1.8 isn't powerful enough - as you said it is obviously the more powerful engine, having nearly 60 bhp more (~42%) & 2 seconds off the 0-62mph time. I have also driven both back to back, for me the difference is noticeable when required.

Lead times for the Corolla are long. I ordered mine mid-August 2023 and it was delivered towards the end of January this year. And that was for a 1.8 hatchback!

I was thinking the same.

The current Toyota Finance PCP offer requires the car to be registered by 11th of December. My dealer was prepared to say that they would honour the terms if the delivery was late but they wouldn't guarantee my part ex value until the end of February (they would December)

having owned both the 2.0 and the 1.8 the 2.0 gets my vote.

Interesting that the lead times are so long - my parents were considering putting in an order for a brand new Corolla TS with all the bells and whistles in France and the lead time was only 5 weeks. What's even more interesting is that the car is apparently made in the UK so goodness knows why the lead times in the UK are so long!

In terms of 1.8 vs 2.0, for the price difference, I would opt for the 2.0 as it's that much more flexible when you need it to be.

The TS is made in Burnaston but the 2.0L engine comes from Poland iirc (the 1.8L is made in Wales). There doesn't seem to be an issue with 1.8s just 2.0s.

It has been suggested that there may be some connection to https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/business/zev-mandate-creating-state-imposed-supply-chain-claims-vertu-boss
