Hiace Camper 2.8 Auto

I am looking for advise on tyre preasure on my import. The label inside the drivers door say 3.25 but that seems high as most cars are around 2.1.

If its any help Ihave been running my 2.4 td hi ace on 2.8 The tyres were fitted by ATS at Carshlton ayear ago and still seem ok

The sticker in my door jamb says use 2.4 Bar all round, I have upped this to 2.6 as I do lots of motorway driving.

Mine is 3.0 Turbo SuperCustom LTD by the way, not sure if the engine weight matters at all, mine is an alloy job.

Well..as its a camper you will be pushing more weight (water/gas tanks (lwb?)etc...) so maybe this explains the higher pressure recommendation......just make sure the tyres fitted are rated to cope with it......I have 2.8 4wd and run 38psi....a bit higher than the door post recommends.....
