Hi

ive fitted a new radio to my 2011 aygo

it turns on and works but doesn’t save presets

Fromm reading online I think I’ve connected the ACC not the Battery positive

can anyone confirm if the aygo cable colours are the same as other cars?

yellow- B+
red -ignition

blue-ant

Black ground

the wiring diagram for the new radio is in the photo

the yellow wire had a seperate plug

On the original radio… is that the constant Battery line?

I am confused

Hi Joe and welcome to the board.

When I changed the radio in my 2012 Aygo, I got an ISO adaptor with bullet connectors on the red and yellow wires, as in your case, the radio switched on but the presets wouldn't save.

I just swopped the red and yellow wires over at the bullet connectors and it's worked perfectly for many years....Job done!

I suggest that you do the same as I can't remember which colour is constant and which is acc but a simple swop works.

I hope that helps, all the best!

I had to connect Red to Yellow and Yellow to Red on both MK1 & MK2 Aygo.
