I thought cars were similar, what you can do to a toyota you can do it to a merc or anything else

Er yes they are all similar I suppose, have you ever tried to fit toyota parts to a merc? Or vice versa.

Have you ever actually repaired anything?

Have you ever repaired anything electronic? Like say a tv, they are all the same after all, they all do the same job. <_<

not fixed a TV, sound cards from 1 TV can work on other TVs

have you tried taking the Battery terminals off and leaving them off for a couple of minutes. Will most likely work, the light will prolly come back on again if nothing has been done to solve the problem in the first place though.

You could also take it to nearest bridge that goes over a canal, plonk it and capture it on video, each time you wanna have a good laugh, just watch the video! This is *not* a joke.

Cheers, Yves.

Do what??

As most tvs have the sound circuits built onto the main pcb i would argue that, and I would very much doubt that the surround sound processor board from say a toshiba would fit a sony or a panasonic.

TVs are not built like PCs, they are seriously value engineered.

try taking it to a merc garage and having it serviced??

just a thought

these things are built into the ECU and it logs the millage etc and is reset when the car is serviced by plugging in the 'ol laptop and pulling a few strings

ok how about enough of the tvs people this is TOC not a cat fight forum.

The only place we wana see tvs being mentioned is in the ICE section or the garage,

vmail why dont you just phone a merc place to at least see what they say about the light rather than argueing about tvs.

There we are sorted!
