Only one brake light working

Hi. I've just driven home my new/used c-hr 2022 car, purchased from a Toyota dealership.

When the dealer drove my car into the carpark I noticed only the left break light was working. When I queried this, with him, I was told that this model only has one rear break light plus a bar break light.

This seems very unusual, and I can't find confirmation of this anywhere.

Can any one confirm this please?

Both rear brake lights should be working, as well as the third brake light.

Omg what a employee was that , an ex estate agent? 🤥

Two break lights and they both should work together with the third one. Definitely if a traffics police car drives behind you they will disagree with your dealer 🤭

When you take it back to the Dealer to get it repaired, ask if the headlight fluid has been changed. If the salesman says yes, you know that he no clue as to what he is talking about 😀

I suspect that something got lost in translation ...

There are two, combined stop/tail lights - one each side, obviously. But a single, centrally mounted, back-up (reversing) light.

So, maybe, just maybe, you were told "that this model only has one rear brake reversing light plus a bar brake light"?
