My 2009 Toyota Camry 2.4 L. I just needed to change the Battery and the alternator when I did I discovered that I needed to do a throttle body relearn. I followed the procedure. Turned the key it on and off two times then started on the third then left it in drive for 5 to 7 minutes.
Did this procedure a dozen times drove the vehicle did everything I could think of all to no avail. So then I replaced the throttlebody thinking maybe the TPS is bad. I replaced the throttlebody tried to relearn procedure and still I’m getting a very rough idle and throwing codes. The codes are all misfire codes. Remember the car ran just fine before changing the alternator and the Battery.

does anyone have any ideas for me? I’m stumped.

There might be something else in your case.
The fault codes will point out.
Vacuum Leak or bad spark plugs, or anything along the air fuel supply. Coolant leak into combustion chamber. Check all possibilities depending on fault codes. Throttle body should re learn after few times on and off .
