Steering Wheel Lock for Toyota Yaris Hybrid

Hi folks, recently purchased a 2020 Toyota Yaris Hybrid Automatic 1.5L.

Based in Ireland and need to get the car NCT but in the meantime no insurance company will insure me till it gets it’s NCT which is booked in for a few weeks time.

I am away for 10 days and the car will be on the driveway (uninsured), I was thinking of getting a steering wheel lock to make it somewhat more of a deterrent while I am away. There have been a couple of attempted car robberies in the estate recently.

Is there a specific steering wheel lock that would be recommend for my car model? I understand some fit better than others and some make it harder to cut the steering wheel itself.

All advice is greatly appreciated.

I accept the car is probably not top of a thief’s list but the fact it is uninsured means if it does get robbed I am down quite a few quid.

Stoplock Pro Elite is what I use, can get it pretty cheap too (£50-70).

Just to point out that the standard stop lock pro doesn’t fit the Yaris steering wheel.
