My 2014 mk2 Aygo rear wiper has stopped working have ordered a new wiper motor does anybody know how to fit it because I am struggling to remove the old motor from the car never mind fitting the new one.

I'd get a local garage to do it, like the previous person did on the other thread. Shouldn't cost too much if you have the part.

There are two main obstacles:

  1. The plastic motor cover - I believe you have to squeeze Top and bottom so the left and right bulges out.  (The clip that held the cover in place is on the side).  Not exactly an easy process because I've seen a youTube vide that someone broke it.
  2. The motor itself.  To release the motor from the window, you'll need to remove the nuts on the outside.  First remove the nut on the wiper arm, the wiper arm itself then another nut that held the motor.  More often or not, people just chop it off with an angle grinder to release the motor.

Easy job if you had the tools
