Just a hello to you all...👋

My name's Mike and I'm a new owner.

1st Toyota... 1st Hybrid...

I've Been looking for a replacement for my 2014 1.0 Ecoboost Fiesta for around a year now. (Great little car but, WET BELT 🤬)

I'm aware of the growing emission rulings/strangulations and the Governments drive to get us out of ICE vehicles so decided eventually to go the Toyota Hybrid route.

I'm nowhere near the Electric stage and probably never will be, they have to drag me screaming and shouting...

I picked up my new to me 2021 1.8 Corolla TS (as you like to call it) week or so ago and only found this Owners Forum/Site couple days ago

It is taken a while to get used to the CVT transmission but it's coming along nicely, (In a previous lifetime I was a motor engineer for around 20 years from the mid 60's) so it's all slotting in nicely already.

Getting around early 60's mpg at the mo, so no complaints there (about the same as my Honda Motorbike)

So, there we are for now.

Looking forward to some advice and tips in due course...
