Urgent/help headliner needed for mk2 Avensis 2006 Hatchback

I hope you are all doing well,

My headliner started coming down unfortunately and I am looking to buy a second hand one as the repair cost is extremely high.

I am based in UK so if anyone breaking one please let me know.

Mine is coming away also. What quote have you for a dealer replacement?

Mine is the same. The only fix I can think off is to remove the headliner from the car, separate the fabric from the carrier, clean off the old adhesive/foam, apply new spray adhesive and stick the old fabric back on again. Too much work for a 19 years old car with 162k miles on.

My local dealer quoted €200 to replace it. I'm unsure what fit finish they would achieve. I was considering injecting a glue via a syringe into the flopping ceiling cloth but don't know if it will show wet patches or really work. 🤔
