I've also not seen any OTA updates in just over a year since my 23 Corolla was delivered. In particular in other posts on this forum it is reported that Software Version 1.23.136 for Smart Connect was released in March this year so I have booked my car in to ask why it hasn't been delivered OTA & can they do it instead?

A second point, I had a letter from Toyota saying there was a 'recall' for my car, something about using the My Toyota app to turn on Climate Control remotely which I don't think I would ever use, and the fix would be delivered OTA but 'there will be no notification on your vehicle' that it has happened. Given that I have not seen any other OTA updates at all, I'm expected to believe that?

There is also mention on this forum that a bug in our current software version is preventing OTA updates so I think it is important to get it updated even if it has to be done by the dealer. Maybe this would also allow OTA map updates to commence and prevent the hassle of manual updates highlighted in the above posts.

Yes. I don't like the fact that Toyota say that a OTA will be delivered, then say you will not know if we have delivered it. Good job Toyota don't run the postal service😀.

I successfully performed the update earlier today, as documented by others you need to get the unzipped files onto a FAT32 32GB stick and I used a USB A to C adaptor to connect the stick to the car.  I initially tried to use a USB C Hub, but when I connected the hub to the car the multimedia displayed a message along the lines of "All USB ports used" or similar.  I guess that Toyota does not want to support a hub hanging off the USB port for whatever reason.  Anyway the upgrade worked and the system was resilient to interruptions and completed the upgrade on its own eventually, though the estimated time timer was a little optimistic.
I wanted to do the upgrade as the factory shipped map did not include the new junction between the A249 and the M2 down in Kent and it was annoying passing through there and being sent up the old road which is now a dead end, I checked and the map looks good now for that junction at least.

Sadly, my upgrade has not responded to a change of USB stick. Looks like a trip to the dealer is coming up, unless anyone knows a way to do a system reset.

Booked in with dealer first week in October. Apart from not having a Satnav, the only thing I have noticed is the speed limit recognition system cannot interpret the National Speed limit sign (circle with bar top left to bottom right on white background). Presumably because there is no map data to say single or dual carriageway.

Hi,
Mine keeps on failing at 20 mins remaining. Changed and reformatted the pendrives countless times. also downloaded an extracted the update many times. For a week now, I am stuck with no maps.
I am suspecting the zip file downloaded from Toyota E-Store containing corrupt data.
Anybody happens to be having the zip somewhere?

Thanks,

LVPVS
